Well:  we seem to be well ensconced for our games at the new 
location, the famous "Fairmont Clubhouse,"* just north of 
Lexington/Eureka intersection in El Cerrito (south of EC library, 
senior citizens center on Stockton, and west of elevated BART 
tracks).  As usual, games are Wednesday and Fridays at 12:15 pm.  (EC 
bridge club games there on Mondays--12:15 and 7:25 pm.)

Vi Kimoto reports three new members to LOBC:  Mary Kiriakis, Bob 
Post, and Gretchen Smith.  Welcome aboard!

Mark Kornman has announced STaC games (ACBL's "Sectional Tournament 
at Clubs") on Wednesday, May 10, and Friday May 12:  standard games, 
with silver masterpoints for people who place.

Meanwhile, the Berkeley-El Cerrito-Richmond annual Barbecue Swiss 
/Election game (also a STaC game) is Saturday May 13, beginning at 12 
noon, with second session TBA.  At the El Cerrito Community Center on 
Moeser.  If you have questions or partnership queries, send them to

always fun, and the barbecue dinner between sessions is wonderful.

And:  Hope you all saw nice photo of Vi Kimoto in your latest 
District 21 Forum newspaper--as she was receiving her D21 Goodwill 
Award.  Huzzah for Vi!
