Live Oak Bridge Club / El Cerrito Bridge Club Newsletter

All the Live Oak and El Cerrito Bridge Club games will be moving to a 
new location, the Fairmount Clubhouse Bridge Center at 715 Lexington Av 
in El Cerrito.  The dates for the move are as follows:

Live Oak Bridge Club of El Cerrito
March 8th - Wednesday 12:15
March 10th  - Friday 12:15

El Cerrito Bridge Club
March 13th  - Monday 12:15 (was 12:30)
(Note the new starting times)
March 13th  - Monday 7:25 PM (was 7:15)

Berkeley-El Cerrito-Richmond Sunday Unit game
June 25th – Sunday 1:00 PM

Note that the BER sectional tournaments, including the upcoming March 
3-5 event, as well as the BBQ Swiss events will still be held at the El 
Cerrito Community Center.  The Monthly BER unit game will remain at the 
Community Center until June.

The Fairmount Clubhouse Bridge Center has many advantages:
1.	A more spacious location
2.	Better acoustics for a quieter game
3.	Restrooms in the building (no more fumbling for keys)
4.	No moving the game in the summer to a new location
5.	No noisy distractions (dances, martial arts, swimming pool)

Parking is available on the adjacent streets.  We have also requested 
the city to provide us with some handicapped parking spaces right in 
front of the Bridge Center.

Attached are some maps to the new location.  From San Pablo Av, turn on 
Eureka (the Guitar Center building is on that corner).  If coming on 
I80 exit at Central Avenue.  One is a Word file (.doc) and the other is 
an Acrobat PDF file (.pdf).  Hopefully you'll be able to open and look 
at one or the other.  If not, you can pick up a printed newsletter at 
the club.
